(1) Quiet times: Just as our vacation accommodation is important to us, so is having a good relationship with our neighbours. Some of our neighbors live in the area all year round, whilst others are visitors like you who enjoy the benefits of the region. Therefore, we kindly ask you to respect the community and keep noise levels to a minimum, especially after 22:00. We are confident that your vacation will be even more enjoyable if you show respect for the people and property around you. In case of complaints about excessive noise or disruptive behaviour, we reserve the right to terminate the rental agreement immediately and withhold the deposit. If any disputes or neighborhood complaints arise, please inform us as soon as possible.

 

(2) Security: We kindly ask that you keep windows (except tilted) and doors closed when leaving the house. Please also turn off the air conditioning while you are away. Our house is naturally well insulated and will be cool when you return.

 

(3) Pets: Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in the house.

 

(4) Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside our house. In the event of non-compliance, the provider may charge a cleaning fee of up to 200.00 euros (net). Smoking is only permitted on balconies and terraces.

(5) Laundry: You are welcome to use the in-house washing machine. 

 

(6) Parking: Please only use the designated parking spaces. Parking directly in front of the house is not permitted. Short-term parking for loading and unloading is allowed.

 

(7) Visitors: We want you to fully enjoy your vacation and your time in our home. However, for safety reasons, the number of overnight guests is limited. As part of our rental agreement, we require the names and details of all members of your party. Please note the maximum number of visitors and the rules for visitors outlined below. A total of 4 visitors may be hosted at any time during the day. Guests are responsible for ensuring that all visitors adhere to these house rules. Additional overnight guests must be approved in advance and will incur to an extra charge.

(8) Pool: Before using the pool, please take a quick shower to rinse off sunscreen and sand and keep the pool water clean. Our outdoor shower is available for this purpose.

Children love water! Please do not leave your children unattended in the pool. The owners and the property managers accept no liability for any accident.

 

(9) Water: You are on an island in a southern country and water is a precious resource here in summer. Please bear this in mind when showering, using the dishwasher and washing clothes (only full machines). In principle, our water is pure, but we cannot guarantee it’s drinking water quality.

 

(10) Wastewater: Please refrain from using wet toilet tissues during your stay, as our house has a septic tank.

 

(11) Access: The landlord/manager reserves the right to access to the rented part of the house, especially in case of imminent danger. Any access will be conducted with due consideration for the guest’s privacy and we will inform you in advance unless it is unreasonable or impossible to the circumstances.

 

(12) Internet: Our house has wifi with 4 GB via Starlink. However, we cannot guarantee consistently stable internet in certain weather conditions (e.g. storms). Due to the high tourist demand along the coast and the location of the house, fluctuations can occur. For more detailed terms of use of our wifi please read the terms and conditions.
